The collaboration with both my Indian peers as well as my classmates went smoothly. Everyone handed in their work on time, and our party learned a lot from our friends in India and visa versa.
We all enjoyed this interaction, because learned something new and how other children of our age us their spare time. That goes for grandparents and parents too. Both of our groups communicated easily, and we had all of our questions regarding their projects answered, and we happily accepted and answered their questions.
Because of this project, we learned the differences and similarities between each other’s cultures, how we all spend our free time and how we live in general. And as mentioned before, we were quite amazed by some of their answers. What happens in India everyday might just be something spectacular to us Dutch folk.
Something that was also quite pleasant was the fact that there were no awkward silences, at all. Our Indian partners were very lively, and so were we because of the excitement to talk to our new friends.
And although we all found this experience to be more than pleasant, there were some things that could have gone better. For instance: the timing. It was said that our Q&A would start around 9:15 am, but when we entered the meeting it was still busy answering questions of our other ‘Eumind’ group partners. We lost about 10 minutes worth of questions because of this. But luckily for us all our questions got answered, as mentioned before, but it’s obviously always nice to have some sort of extra interaction with someone you’re collaborating with.
