The second conference was better than the first one because the second one was way more organized then the first one. We had to come up with questions to ask our peers. The conference wasn’t entirely smooth, sometimes peers wouldn’t react or dint hear you. There was sadly no communication with the peers beside the two conferences. So sadly we couldn’t stay in touch.
In this project we had to research if there is a difference between the genders. For example if one of the genders gets paid more or if one of them is not allowed to do something. We had to research this for the present day but alsof or the past. We are going to be comparing our results with the results from the india group.
Our results:
After we did all the interviews with our family members and the research we came to a conclusion. Our conclusion is that there is a difference between the genders because in the past most of the times the males had jobs and the females were working as housewives. Boys and girls also went to seperate schools. Males and females also got different salary but that didn’t change because that is still the same in the present. Nowadays in the Netherlands females have more rights but they aren’t equal to men yet.
Their results:
When we looked at their results we could see that it is pretty much the same as here in the Netherlands. But there are some differences. For example girls in India could do studies but they weren’t favoured enough in terms of employment or leadership. That means that males who did the same study got way more opportunities. They would even prefer males with average grades above females with top grades and extreme talent. It was easy for males to get education and study but for females it was very hard to get any form of education. Nowadays in India females have more opportunities but they are still limited to what males can do.
