This project has been really educational and fun. Both students from two different school in different countries has had an opportunity to interact with each other, even if the countries are miles and miles away from each other.
The first meeting
The first meeting was well quite interesting and fun. At first it was let’s just say a bit awkward, we weren’t sure on how to start. Eventually we warmed up to each other, both Indian and Dutch students started asking each other on their religion, how we are holding up with COVId-19, what our interests are etc. Also we, the Dutch students, didn’t have to join the meeting separately unlike the Indian students. We had to sit in a classroom with the other TTO class and ask questions if we had some.
One thing that I would like to point out is the internet, it may have been them having connection problems or something else. However some answers for the Indian students could hardly be heard or not even heard at all. Even so the meeting was quite fun and educational, both school learned new interests from each other.

The second meeting
The second meeting was however quite different. Each member of each group had to join the meeting separately at a specific time. Both the Indian and Dutch groups had 15 minutes to answer each other’s question.
Eventually, at 9.45h to be exact, our mass media group along with the Indian mass media group had a 15 minute call to (like the others) answer each other’s question. Some of the questions from the Indian group were about our favourite apps or mass media platforms, if we prefer to read books digitally or not, which mass media was popular in our region etc. It was like the first meeting quite educational and interesting, it was also fun to know about each other’s interests. However 15 minutes isn’t enough to answer each question about the topic mass media. The questions that we had were however answered via our geography teacher mr. Van Leeuwen. Another bad aspect is the fact that sometimes the connection, like the first meeting, was quite poor, which lead to questions or answers not being heard. One example is when we joined, the other group had the opportunity to start with the first question, which they did. However none of us heard it, and we though that they didn’t ask anything.

Research methods
Sadly this part could not have been discussed due to the short amount of time given for the meeting. And we can not be certain about the claims the we will make. We assume that the Indian mass media group used their interviews and our answers to their questions as a research method, as to know more about mass media.
However our research was done with the answers from our interviewees and the answers from our Indian mass media peers, as to know more about them.
To conclude, there are many similarities and differences between the mass media of India and the Netherlands. Some differences are the interests in music and TV-shows, but also what people should know about both countries. While the similarities are that some of our opinions on mass media are the same, not only that but also our commonly used mass media. The research method could not have been discussed, due to the short amount of time during the meeting.
