Research question: To what extent has the way that teenagers spend their spare time changed?
In our results we can see that people from older generations have spend more time outside and they had less homework. In India they do almost the same, but we are probably more “Americanised”. The older generations doesn’t think it’s a good thing that the new generations spend as much time on their phone. The spare time also changed with what we do now and what our grandparents did in the past, when they were young. We play different games (outside and inside) than our grandparents and even in our way of spending spare time between us and our parents changed, it’s all different from each other. For example, in the past our grandpa played football when he was young, and now we are playing with a PS4 or iPad. They didn’t even know what it was, it didn’t exist in their time. Now they do of course, but that’s really different. Every way of spending free time from all the generations is different. Our kids might ride in cars in their free time, or fly with some kind of drone. Who knows?
The main differences between Europe and India: India has a bigger scale of religions and they have a way bigger population.
