Our own opinions about this project:
Sanne:
I think this project was very fun to do, but the collaboration went very badly. From the beginning, the team work didn't go well. People within the group didn't listen well to each other. Communication was very bad, so we sometimes did not know what to do. I was always the one who took the initiative and divided the tasks, otherwise nothing would get done. I also did an extra interview, because otherwise we would miss points. Very often, tasks were not completed by others, which left us behind. I enjoyed interviewing people and learning about India and the culture there. I also really enjoyed calling and talking to children from India. I did a lot in this project, which was actually not fair. I also made our whole part of the website and turned it into something beautiful. The results are good, but in general I think this project went not very good.
Isabella:
The idea of this project was rather fun; meeting new people, learning about each-others culture... I’ve always had an interest so I really enjoyed it. Although, between the group things didn’t go as planned most of the times. We were lacking behind often, mostly because of problems with one’s device or wifi, but we also often didn’t finish it. I am to blame for that as well, I could’ve done way better as I love these kind of projects. But since home quarantine, there was way more work and that’s why I personally didn’t get to finish some stuff on time which is a shame. For the rest, the communication wasn’t always well which caused annoyance.
But, even though I messed up partly, I could still enjoy it a lot. For example, when we were having the 2nd call. I enjoyed speaking to the Indian students and learning stuff about their culture and their healthy lifestyle. Which is why I am still thankful for this opportunity.
Melvin:
I thought this project was very educational. Meeting another country its culture and asking questions about it, I really liked it especially in this time at home when you have nothing to do really. But when looking inside the project it gets less positive. Since the beginning we had problems with opinions, teamwork, communication and motivation not even mentioning the procrastinating of the group members. We even needed to get in the teacher to solve our problems. This might have partly been because of the lockdown we are in right now but even before the lockdown we had problems. But generally speaking I thought it was a fun project and I’m glad we at least got something on the table.
Daniël:
I think the project went quite well exept for a few miscommunications between a few group members and. But furthermore the most things went really well. I don’t exactly remember what I did but I remember making a bit of the site and doing interviews and also writing interviews.
Also I wrote differences between parents and I wrote this report maybe I missed some thing I did but this is everything I remember.
