Answer comparison grandparents/parents
Similarities:
1 Most mom’s stayed at home for housekeeping, this counts for parents and the grandparents.
2 Still mostly talked about school with their families.
3 Everyone thinks family has changed over time and the role of it.
Differences:
1 Hierarchy’s, parents had none and grandparents all had them to some degree.
2 Parents don’t really have a certain thing that reminded them that they’re important to the family, grandparents did have some.
3 Music isn’t as important for everyone.
Conclusion: The hierarchy’s really changed a lot with all the families. The talking about school thing didn’t change at all over the years which doesn’t seem to surprising considering school is and always will be important. The fact that almost everyone think the role of a family has changed does seem to be true since as everyone said the hierarchy’s are barely here anymore and everything seems to have become way more equal. It was the same almost everywhere that the mom stayed at home most of the time, this didn’t change that much over the years.

Own opinion
I personally think that over the time of the years family life has changed quite a lot, not necessarily through the parents and then the third generation but mostly about the grandparents to now. When our grandparents were about our age family life was pretty different, new technology and inventions are of course a big reason for that but just in general the role of a family changed a lot. I feel like nowadays the kids have more saying and can form their own opinion instead of the parents having all the saying. Im not saying kids can do anything they want, I just feel like parents take their kids opinion more into account nowadays.
In the interviews this was also pretty noticeable in the change from grandparents to parents but now it has completely changed.
