Conclusion:
The data we have gathered showed us, that our grandparents and parents lived a healthier life compared to us now. They said that we eat less healthy and we go less outside, because nowadays we have more money to afford tastier/unhealthier food. We also have games nowadays, that keep us inside. The Indian interviewees weren’t telling anything different, they also think that our generation are less healthier because of the increasing wealth and rise of technologies. And when looking at the lifestyle of the interviewees it is also clear that they in the old days exercised sports and ate healthy too.
So going back to the main question: “Has the lifestyle of the families become more or less healthy?” We think we can conclude that we have become less healthy both in the Netherlands and in India.
