Conclusion
Our main question is “has the role of the family changed” but I will come back to that later. In this project we try to find out more about the Indian culture, but our main goal was to know more about our family life and the family life in India. We called with a class from India so we could gather information about our topic. We asked question, and so did they.
We also found similarities and differences throughout the generations in our country. An example for the differences is that parents didn’t have a certain thing that reminded them of the past, but our grandparents did have some, which is pretty odd, because their much older. A similarity is that our mom’s mostly do the housekeeping, and so did your grandmothers.
Our main question was “has the role of the family changed.” And I would say maybe. The reason why I say this is because in some aspects we do exactly the same as in a previous generation for example the mom still doing housekeeping meaning that the father works. In other aspects we do other things, an example for this is that we watch tv with our parents instead of playing a game with each other.
