I really think it is very interesting to see all the differences between the gender related roles in the Netherlands and in India. You can really see how religion and culture has an impact on the subject. I Think that you could easily see that the situation in India didn’t really change at all. But the situation in the Netherlands changed a lot and I think that is very interesting to see. This also mean The Netherlands evolves faster in women rights the India
The opinion about the topic(Lianne):
My opinion on gender related roles, is that the difference between men and women/ boys and girls is quite small in the Netherlands. I have the same opportunities as boys, which means that I can pursue the career I want. Which is studying in the technical field. If I would’ve been born in my grandparents generation, then I would’ve never been able to that, because women didn’t have those opportunities. In my parent’s generation it was already much improved. It was not very common yet for women to do stuff in the technical world, but it slowly got normal, and I’m grateful for that.
